Privacy Policy

GitBoost AI (gitboostai.com) is operated by F1 Dream Jobs LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use GitBoost AI, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any question, email us at gitboostai@gmail.com.

• GitHub account. When you sign in with GitHub we receive your name, email address, username and profile picture. We also request access to your repositories (GitHub scopes "read:user" and "repo") so we can analyze your projects and, only when you ask, create or update a repository or profile README for you.
• Content you provide. Resumes you upload, job descriptions you paste, LinkedIn profile PDFs, and career details such as your target role, skills, phone number, LinkedIn and portfolio links.
• Hiring Manager Outreach. If you (or a recruiter working with you) connect a Gmail account, we store the Gmail address and a send-only access token (see "Google user data" below), the email templates chosen, and a log of outreach emails (recipient company, subject, time and delivery status).
• Contact and call requests. Your name, email, phone number and message when you contact us, plus a record of the consent you gave and the IP address it was given from.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your payment status and plan; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage records. Counts of the features you use (for example daily usage limits and remaining credits) so we can apply your plan correctly.

• To provide the features you use: skill-gap analysis, resume matching and fixing, README and portfolio generation, interview prep, LinkedIn optimization and hiring manager outreach.
• To send outreach emails that you or your recruiter chose to send, from the connected Gmail account.
• To manage your account, plan, payments and usage limits.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Hiring Manager Outreach lets a candidate, or a recruiter acting for the candidate with their permission, connect a Gmail account. We request only these Google permissions:

• gmail.send: to send the outreach emails that were previewed and queued in GitBoost AI, with the candidate's resume attached.
• email and openid: to know which Gmail address was connected.

We cannot read, search or delete anything in the Gmail inbox, and we never ask for that permission. The long-lived access token is stored encrypted (AES-256) and is used only by our sending service. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it or share it with data brokers, and we do not use it to train AI models. Our staff do not read it, except where you ask us to for support, for security purposes, or where the law requires it.

GitBoost AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Gmail at any time from the Outreach page, which deletes the stored token and cancels any emails not yet sent. You can also remove access from your Google Account under Security > Third-party apps with account access.

To analyze resumes, job descriptions and profiles we send the relevant text to our AI provider, Anthropic, under terms that do not allow them to use it to train their models. We only send what a feature needs.

We share information only with service providers that help us run GitBoost AI, and only as needed:

• Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in)
• Vercel (hosting)
• Stripe (payments)
• Anthropic (AI processing)
• Google (sending Gmail you asked us to send) and GitHub (sign-in and repository actions you asked for)

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our users or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy will continue to apply).

Outreach emails are written and sent by job candidates from their own Gmail accounts, using business contact details (name, work email, company) that we keep for this purpose. If you do not want to receive these emails, email gitboostai@gmail.com with your address and we will stop all outreach to it across GitBoost AI.

• We keep your information while your account is active, and as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations and resolve disputes.
• You can disconnect Gmail or revoke GitHub access at any time.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing gitboostai@gmail.com. We will complete deletion requests within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example payment records).

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypt stored Gmail tokens, restrict database access to our servers, and limit staff access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach affecting you as required by law.

GitBoost AI is meant for job seekers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

GitBoost AI is operated from the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
